not only were we celebrating our first birthday, project slogan also opened it's second gallery space in the city centre in june 2008. we had a full day of events including:
• daytime art/zine fair - books, zines, drawings and art pieces by various artists; local and from round the UK
• live art - artists jo muir, sarah j tingle and nick chate were making drawings and sculptures in the space during the day for people to interact with live
• graduate award 2008 - we announced the winner of the project slogan graduate award; rebecca tait BA(hons) PEM
• shortlisted artists work - displayed was a piece of work from each of the shortlisted artists for the graduate award
• birthday party - we are 1 year old! cake all round
• live music - by lamplighter, lazy sheepdog and tom the noisemonger

• after party - the good people at the club moshulu agreed to give everyone with a project slogan stamp on their hand free entry so those who wanted to, could boogie on down more!
